Community Guidelines
How we keep sessions safe and kind.
The spirit
Co-regulation works because both people feel safe. These guidelines exist to protect that. They apply to everyone: members and Anchors alike.
In a session
- Be present, that's all. Sessions are muted, three minutes, camera on. No talking is expected, and nothing is asked of you except quiet company.
- Keep it appropriate. Fully clothed, no offensive imagery or gestures, no sexual behaviour of any kind. This is absolute.
- No recording. Never record, screenshot or capture a session or another person. We never record sessions either.
- Stay on the platform. Do not ask for or share contact details, social handles or locations. Anchors will never ask for yours.
Always
- No harassment or threats, in sessions, reflections you report, or anywhere else in the app.
- Be 18+. Attuned is for adults only.
- One person, one account.
If something feels wrong
Trust that feeling. End the session (no explanation needed), then report in two taps. Reports go to a human, are confidential, and are acted on within 24 hours. Blocking is instant and the other person is not told.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on severity: a warning, suspension, or permanent removal. Sexual misconduct, threats, or attempts to identify or contact someone off-platform mean immediate permanent removal. Where the law requires, we involve authorities.
Attuned is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 112.
Attuned is a wellbeing tool. It is not therapy, medical care, or a crisis service, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. Attuned supports moments of calm and regulation; it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please speak to a doctor or mental health professional. In an emergency, call 112.
